For me, Batley Girls’ High School Sixth Form was a great fit. In the two years I studied there, I was constantly pushed to achieve my potential. My teachers wanted me to excel and not fall short of what they believed I could accomplish.  Aside from my academic studies, I involved myself with fantastic opportunities in order to constantly work involved myself with fantastic opportunities in order to constantly work on personal and professional development.  In my opinion, studying and striving for outstanding grades is undoubtedly important.  However, in order to truly develop our potential, we must endeavour beyond this.

Batley Girls’ High School Sixth Form provided me with unique opportunities which formed part of my self-enrichment.  For example, I was mentored for and took part in the European I was mentored for and took part in the European Youth Parliamentary Debate competition, I was chosen to be the Student Co-Head and was President of Rotary Interact.  These are but a few of my great experiences at the Sixth Form.

In terms of support, both academic and pastoral were brilliant.  Overall, all that I learned during my time at Batley Girls’ High School, I now have further developed and apply to both my academic studies at university as well as in various extra-curricular and professional settings. university as well as in various extra-curricular and professional settings. The opportunities I took advantage of in Sixth Form contributed to being prepared for the world beyond Batley Girls’.  I now own a company which I established this year with another exciting venture in the pipeline, and I have taken part in very unique opportunities at university, for example successfully competing in a high profile company competition.  Always being pushed to do better, along with the maintenance of strong intrinsic motivation opens up many doors. maintenance of strong intrinsic motivation opens up many doors.

Batley Girls’ High School Sixth Form played a role in bringing out the best in me, and I would not have chosen to study at another Sixth Form if I could go back and do things again.
